Dr. Igor Pesun DMD, MSc, FACP, FRCD(C)
Dr. Pesun is an Associate Professor and Head of the the division of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry University of Manitoba where he completed his dental education and then went on to do a General Practice Residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Canada. He returned to set up a general practice in Winnipeg and was a part-time instructor and clinical researcher at the University of Manitoba. After 4 years of private practice he entered the Medical College of Georgia's Graduate Prosthodontic Program and received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Oral Biology following that he began his full time academic career at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. As an active member of the department he taught in the undergraduate clinic, coordinated the preclinical prosthodontic curriculum and instructed the graduate prosthodontic residents in their didactic, research and clinical courses. As a Board Certified Prosthodontist in the USA and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, he maintains an active private prosthodontic practice providing restorative, maxillofacial, implant and aesthetic dental care. He has published articles on basic, applied, clinical, and educational research. Dr. Pesun has been involved in a number of local, national and international organizations and continues to serve as a reviewer for a number of national and international dental journals. Helping practitioners to expand their clinical practice with contemporary techniques he has lectured to various groups in the Bolivia, Caribbean, Croatia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua and USA.
Dr. George Bambarra, DDS,DMD, MS
Dr. Bambara lecturers nationally and internationally on attachment prosthetics and is recognized by Dentistry Today magazine as a “Top Clinician in Continuing Education”. He is a graduate of and on the staff of the faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of New Jersey and is an adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Staten Island. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Society and the Richmond County Dental Society where he served as President in 1998. Dr. Bambarra holds Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the International Academy of Dento-Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Rodrigo França, DDS. MSc. PhD
Dr. França is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba and Head of Dental Materials Research. With PhD’s in both Dentistry and Metallurgy and as a previous Lecturer in Biomaterials, and Research Assistant at the Biomedical Engineering Institut - École Polytechnique de Montréal as well as a practicing dentist and Professor in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he brings an excellent skill-set to PDIC. Dr Franca is currently working with PDIC in examining alternate dental materials to increase performance and reduce costs of manufacturing the EAS System, as well as advising on the Brazilian (and general South American) implant markets.
Dr. Errol Wright, DDS
Dr. Wright is an oral surgeon and long-established, respected dentist in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dr. Wright’s dental practice provides general dentistry with a focus on crowns, bridges, and implants. He is a shareholder and Vice President of Dental Leasing, a dental and medical equipment leasing company.
